After spending 2 days with grandpa and grandma we packed up and drove two hours home. When we got there we unloaded, repacked, reloaded and fed the kids before reloading everyone for another two hour drive to Crystal Mountain to spend the second half of the Christmas Break with Mark's family. I was amazed at what good travelers Will and Erin were on our trip. I probably shouldn't be considering how much they have already traveled in their short life.
We arrived in time for daddy and the boys to watch the Western Michigan University vs. Purdue game, where his beloved Alma mater lost in a close game of 37-32. We had dinner and then opened presents. Will was asleep and opened his presents in the morning. Erin had fun crawling around and checking out everything. She loved the tree and quickly learned how to bang some of the pretty, glass balls together.
Erin learned how to pull herself up on the bathtub ledge. Will wasn't so impressed with his sisters newest trick. He just likes to splash in the water and watch it come out of the spout.
The kids weren't feeling well during this time so there was a lot of time spent snugging (between wipping and suctioning snotty noses).
Aunt Sarah is getting married on February 11, 2012! Carol Keen threw her a BEAUTIFUL bridal shower at Kinlochen. The girls all had a nice afternoon of conversations, food and drinks and we had the most amazing chocolate truffle cake! Sarah was 'showered' with so many nice gifts. She and Marc will be all set for their new life in together. While we were at the shower, the boys decided to stop by and say hi. This is what we saw when we looked out the window. What a great looking group of guys.
The kiddos were all born within a few months of one another. Will and Erin are the oldest, followed by Urban (in red) born in February and Margo born in April. Urban and Margo's moms grew up skiing with Mark. It is fun to now have the next generation up at Crystal. Margo's almost 2 year old brother Tommy was here, but didn't want to join in on the picture fun.
Kisses from Aunt Sarah!
