It's Been A While

Last Friday night, we braved the elements and headed downtown to enjoy Art Prize.  Thankfully, there were indoor exhibits because it started to rain and was pretty chilly.  The rain did clear and we were able to walk around and see many of the great pieces of art that have been on display in Grand Rapids.

Will was not amused by the bunny hat, but I thought it was cute.  He got it while he was in the NICU.  There were people that had made hats for the babies who are in the hospital.  We got this one for Easter, but he wasn't about to wear it becasue he was on CPAP.  It was perfect with the sweater he wore on Friday night.  And will be a great picture for a graduation slideshow. :-)

Go State!

Grandma Melanie (my mom) has been teaching the kids to read while she babysits.  Here Erin is sharing a classic book with Will.  They discussed the pictures, practiced rhyming and made predictions on which animal would come next.

Mark went to New York City on Monday night for his brother's suprise 30th birthday party.  The kids and I survied thanks to the Baby Bjorn and a backpack.  The both loved it, but they got heavy really fast. Which makes sense because I was carrying around an additional 30 + pounds.

He's back! Our dog, Clark, is back home with us.  He has been living the good life in Ludington with Mark's parents.  We are so thankful that they were able to keep him since January.  I know that they will miss him and he will miss his daily walks with them. But, it is nice to have him home with us again. As you can see in the picture he has made himself right at home.
