One, it is a charity ride for motorcycles to help raise money for the March of Dimes. No, I don't ride a motorcycle, but as many of you know I do ride a pedal bike and so do many family members and friends! So we have formed a biking team including, me, Matt Hughes, Bill Hughes, Meg Zapalowski, Brad Zapalowski, Delia Bush, Joel Bush and maybe Todd Kamps to ride the 60 miles on our bikes! The ride will be September 11 leaving Martin, MI heading south 30 miles and then looping back north. If you would like to ride with us send me a note on the blog or by facebook. As a team we have set a goal of raising $5000 for the March of Dimes, and to date we have raised $3250!!!
And that is the answer to the second question! We could use your money. We have had donations from $5.00 to $250.00! What we need is $3.75 per person (or more) the price of a small cappuccino at Starbucks and we can hit our goal! Please click on the link above if you would like to donate. You will receive a tax deduction letter by email from the March of Dimes!
THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE ALREADY DONATED!
