Happy Halloween
This year we had a cute puppy and a kitty for Halloween. They were slow to warm up to wearing a costume, but, once they figured out the candy was involved they wore their costumes all of the time. It was a nice (62') rainy Halloween night. We had mummy meatloaf for dinner and went to see Miss Dorothy (our neighbor and mama's friend from school). Then we went trick or treating and Will jumped in puddles! We came home and the kids had fun passing out candy to the trick or treaters. Will kept calling out the door (with his hand over his mouth)"trick or treaters, where are you?" When they would show up the kids ran to the door and gave out handfuls of candy. We are watching The Great Pumpkin and the kids are really enjoying it. We had a fun night and I'm glad I got this blog post up before Halloween 2014!

Reunion Park
I have to start this blog by saying that I did not write it and stole the whole thing, like cut and paste, didn't change a thing stole it, from our friend Jen S. That's while you'll notice pictures of kids other than Will and Erin. Grandpa Doug, is Jen's dad, and a great family friend of ours. He built this amazing camp on his property in Ludington. We're so lucky to have this amazing place to visit!
Reunion Park est 2013
Grandpa Doug has always had a wild imagination...so it comes as no surprise that in his retirement, he's created Ludington's first private campground (aka Disneyland North), where all are welcome to come and play!
A few of the major players decided it was time to "break it in" before winter arrived, so we braved the 45 degree mid-October forecast and met up at the campground for some ole-fashioned family fall fun! Ruboyianes' had the blue cabin, which boasts a second-story loft. *Mark my words, it's not IF, but WHEN a kid will break an armfallingjumping out of that thing.*
Now of course each cabin has color-coordinated Adirondack chairs on the porch, bedding, window treatments, and roof. Plenty of fleece and flannel.
"It's time for bed, Tommy."
The weekend was complete with pumpkin painting, hayride, and cooking over an open fire. When the sun came out, 45 degrees miraculously became 65 degrees...what a pleasant surprise!
No adult within reach...this is the way campers roll.
Margot's knees say it all...she's in heaven.
Margot and Landon...Prom 2028?
Melis was all over this painting thing...
Margot kept a tight grip on her property: apple cider and pumpkin.
Who's with us for 2014!?
