Christmas Morning

This Christmas has been magical. The kids understand the idea of Christmas, Santa and all that goes with it. Erin was asking for a Snow Glow Elsa (from the movie Frozen). It sounded like she was asking for a Snowglobe Elsa so I'm glad figured out what she was asking for. Will wanted an orange dragon. Those were the only toys they were asking for from Santa.

On Christmas morning, the kids were up at 7:30 after daddy played Christmas music to wake them up. They were a little sleepy and unsure of what to do, but they soon figured it out.
Erin opened her first present, a fork and spoon set, and she promptly threw it across the room, sprawled out on the floor and started to cry because it wasn't a Snow Glow Elsa. Erin was not happy. Will suggested that she try a bigger box and he handed her the biggest one he could find. She opened it up and was shrieking with excitement because it was Elsa!! Her voice was high pitch because she was so excited. It was fun to watch her open her present. Thank goodness Santa was able to get Elsa in his sleigh.
Will was excited to see the orange dragon in the Christmas tree. Santa wrapped half of it and put him in the tree. Will opened another box and that has what is now known as 'scary dragon' in it. Santa brought him two dragons! What a lucky boy!
Will quickly opened his pile of gifts and stocking gifts. He had fun playing with everything. Erin took her time and really seem to enjoy opening each present.
After we played for a few hours, it was time to pack up and head to Grandpa Paul and Grandma Connie's house.
